INTERNSHIP
DETAILS

Sehic Law, PLLC offers talented students the ability to work one-on-one with a supervising attorney to transform academic learning into practical application.  Interns can expect to shadow counsel in a wide variety of subjects to include civil and criminal matters in both state and federal courts.  Interns will be exposed to a number of courts, legal practitioners, and clients.  Interns will likely provide assistance / attend cases set for trial.  Exposing students to a wide variety of matters, the internship should help focus a student's interest in one or more particular fields.  Interns are allowed to set their own schedules.  Please note, this internship is unpaid. 


Qualifications

- Interest in the Law;
- Excellent legal research skills;
- Strong oral and written skills;
- Coursework in Professional Responsibility (Legal Ethics) and Evidence;

Responsibilities

- Significant client contact opportunities;
- Case investigation to assist with trial preparation;
- Negotiation with opposing counsel;
- Legal research and writing in preparation for motion hearings and trial;
- Reviewing and preparing pre-trial discovery; and
- Attendance at hearings and trial
